Craftigent exists because good teams keep getting the same bad deal: a senior pitch, a junior delivery, and a codebase nobody wants to inherit. We are a team of three, we stay senior, and we hand back systems your own engineers are happy to own.
Mission
Make good engineering ordinary.
Most software problems are not technically hard. They are unclear, under-instrumented, or owned by nobody. Our job is to remove the ambiguity first and then build the smallest thing that proves the direction.
We work across six practices because the problems clients bring us rarely stay inside one. A marketing site becomes a performance problem, which becomes a platform decision. We would rather hold that whole thread than hand it to another vendor.
We are deliberately small, and we intend to stay that way. It means we say no often, and it means the people you meet are the people who do the work.

Four things we do not negotiate.
Say the uncomfortable thing early
If the scope is wrong, the deadline is fiction or the feature will not move the metric, you hear it in week one. Late honesty is expensive.
Three people, full context
We cap the team at three. Three people who hold the whole problem beat eight who each hold a slice, and nobody on your invoice is there to fill a seat.
Leave it maintainable
Typed code, real tests, written decisions. The measure of a good engagement is how easily your team moves after we are gone.
Charge for outcomes, not hours
Fixed-scope where scope is knowable, retainer where it is not. Either way you know the number before we start.

- 2023Founded as a two-person web engineering shop, taking one build at a time.
- 2024Added digital marketing and technical SEO after clients kept asking who would drive traffic to what we built.
- 2025Testing and security practices launched, so releases ship with evidence behind them.
- 2026AI agent and automation practice formed around production LLM workflows. Team held at three.
